To provide a seamless experience for our customers, payment is due immediately upon the completion of the service call. Please note that our mobile technicians utilize secure electronic processing and do not accept cash or personal checks for onsite appointments. This policy ensures a transparent, digital receipt for your records and allows our technicians to focus entirely on getting your rig back on the road

At Rocky Valley RV, we prefer that someone be present during your mobile service call to discuss diagnostics and repair findings in real-time. For new customers, we require an onsite contact to ensure clear communication and accountability for both parties. For our established customers, we offer flexible, remote RV service options if you are out of town or away from your campsite.

If you cannot be present, please notify us in advance so we can coordinate RV access details and security. Upon completion of the job, our team provides a detailed digital report and a secure online invoice for immediate remote processing. This ensures your rig is professionally maintained even when you can’t be at the campground.

Our mobile RV service includes a flat-rate service call fee which covers the logistics, travel, and professional equipment required to bring dealership-level expertise directly to your campsite or residence. Because we serve a wide radius across Jefferson County and Hamblen County, with extended reach into select areas of Sevier County and Cocke County, this fee is calculated based on your specific location and will be clearly discussed during your initial consultation with our Service Advisor.

Please note that the service call fee covers the dispatch of our mobile unit; on-site diagnostics and labor for repairs are billed separately. While Rocky Valley RV can resolve most RV appliance, HVAC, and plumbing issues onsite at your campground, certain structural or safety-critical repairs require the specialized equipment at our Dandridge Service Center.

Specialized shop jobs, such as full RV roof replacements (including expert CrazySeal restoration) and major axle or suspension service, are performed in our controlled facility to ensure the highest quality standards. Please note: Our major suspension and axle repair services are exclusively for towable units, including travel trailers and 5th wheels.

If your towable rig is immobilized or you're uncomfortable moving it, we can help arrange professional RV transportation to our facility. This seamless transition from mobile diagnostics to shop-level restoration ensures your trailer is returned to you in better-than-factory condition."

Yes! At Rocky Valley RV, we work with most Extended Service Contracts (aftermarket warranties) for onsite mobile repairs.

For Manufacturer (Factory) Warranties, we operate on a 'Pay and Reimburse' basis. As an independent service provider, we require the customer to obtain prior authorization from the manufacturer and handle payment at the time of service. We then provide a detailed, professional invoice and all necessary documentation for you to submit to the manufacturer for reimbursement.

To ensure a smooth process, please have your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and warranty provider information ready when you call. This approach allows us to provide immediate dealership-level repairs without the long wait times often associated with factory-direct service centers.

The requirement for hookups depends on the specific nature of your repair. To ensure a successful service call, please consider the following:

• Electrical & HVAC Repairs: For RV air conditioner service or electrical diagnostics, we generally require the unit to be connected to 30-amp or 50-amp shore power to test the system under load.

• Plumbing & Water Systems: For leak detection or RV plumbing repairs, having water in the fresh tank or a city water connection is essential for pressure testing.

• Boondocking & Dry Camping: If you are 'boondocking' without hookups near Douglas Lake or Cherokee Lake, please inform us in advance. We can often work around these limitations, but knowing your power and water status helps our technicians arrive fully prepared.

Absolutely! Many of our customers at Douglas Lake and Cherokee Lake campgrounds prefer to have their seasonal RV maintenance performed while their rig is already leveled and set up.

We can perform our full suite of Annual Inspection Plans, including the English, Smoky, and Le Conte packages, directly at your campsite. Our mobile technicians conduct comprehensive RV roof inspections, propane safety checks, and full appliance servicing onsite. This 'campsite-service' model ensures your rig remains road-ready and mountain-bound without the hassle of breaking down your setup to visit a shop.
